TEDxCSU is looking for engaging speakers in northern Colorado to share their ideas worth spreading.

TEDxCSU’s fall conference is a student-organized TEDx event at Colorado State University. We here at TEDxCSU are pleased to announce the launch of the speaker hunt for the fall conference, taking place October 11, 2014 in the Lory Student Center theatre. The theme of this year’s conference is“Know better. Do better,” inspired by the late Dr. Maya Angelou who said, “Do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better.”

We are looking for nine speakers from diverse backgrounds and disciplines to present their original ideas in a live, engaging, 10 to 15 minute talk. Interested participants can access the application HERE. Nominations are also being accepted and can be submitted via email to tedxcsuspeakers@gmail.com.

The TEDxCSU team is encouraging anyone with an idea worth spreading to apply. The deadline for applications is July 23, 2014. Selected applicants will be notified by August 15, 2014 and will proceed to work with the team to polish their presentations for the conference in October. Official speaker announcements will be made in August as they are confirmed.
